Pomelo

Pomelo is considered the king of citrus, and the fruit are a sought after asian delicacy, and Pomelowhilst it might be an ancestor of grapefruit, this exotic citrus plant produces melon sized fruit. 

"The tree is larger than normal citrus. The pith is 12 mm thick. It is unique in itself
because the grapefruit originated from the pomelo. It has a touch of sugar and the peel
can be used as a bulk in cooking and can be made into glace.
They come in both red and clear colour and the fruits can weigh up to about 1kg each.
The segments itself, the edible sections, you peel the fruit and take the membrane of them.

"There is no bitterness in this fruit,it has a very low acidity, almost nil.
there are people who can't eat a grapefruit and so this would suit them as it doesn't
have the acidity and bitterness that the others have.

Pomelos are the largest of the citrus family. Sometimes they are called shaddocks after
the sea captain who took them to the West Indies from Polynesia in the mid-17th century.
They are also known as Chinese grapefruit or pumelo.
